I began writing  when I retired from full time work after spending most of my life in education. It felt very self-indulgent and it had to be fitted around other commitments but I loved it.  I’ve had poetry and short stories published and experimented with a dystopian novel for young people. I’ve also completed an historical novel set in the mid 19th Century which is in revision.
